5k PCN debt collector letter. Scotland

Hello

New to this seeking advice on pcns racked up to 5k in 2017 ..letter from a debt collector up north threatening court action 7 day letter. Client ECP

Should i just send them a reduced offer or take the risk in fighting them

    the advice for Scotland is in the NEWBIES thread near the top of this forum

    it also contains post #4 about ignoring debt collectors


    the only time you need advice is if the PPC or their solicitors issue a small claim using your simple procedures via the sheriffs office


    a keeper is not liable in Scotland, but these companies will take drivers to court, if they know who was driving or the person driving is foolish enough to tell them

    5k does risk court action even up north of the border. In saying that it's still hard for a ppc if they don't know who the driver was.

    Replying to them in any way may give away who was driving so don't do it.
