ive just blocked off a doorway (well, removed door and fitted a frame for the plasterboard). 1 of the lengths of CLS i used is now leaking sap from an area, should i treat/paint/cut out the area before attaching the plasterboard ready to be skimmed?
Last thing i want is a oily spot on my newly plastered wall appearing after a year or 2

I'd paint it with knotting. If I had none I'd probably line it with plastic, but I'm a DIYer not a pro.0

Scrape of the sap and give it a couple of coats of stain block or failing that knotting or some oil based undercoat0
