Switch to prepay

  • Thanks for the answers so far I have unfortunately attempted to talk her into having credit meters for years even at her old address unsuccessfully as she starts to go on about them been easier to budget for. I personally don't have this issue with my credit meters because direct debit is straight forward in my opinion. Ideally what we are looking for is a company that won't change for a meter swap.
  • That should say won't charge sorry for the typo

My mam is moving into a bungalow and wants prepay the internet seems to indicate EON charge for this exchange as they are currently on the metres and there are credit metres who would swap them for free.

Hello Danhpool and welcome to the Forums.

We don't charge to fit prepayment meters. If you contact us, we'll be happy to arrange a suitable appointment to do a meter exchange. There's more information including contact details on our website.

If you're doing this for your mam, please make sure we've her permission for you to make the arrangements on her behalf. There's a Letter of Authority that can be downloaded from our website that'll make things a bit easier.

Hope this points you in the right direction Danhpool. Let me know if you need any more details as happy to help.
