Wouldnt they just pollinate larger varieties?

My concern isnt you trashing your own home, its the contributing to damage caused elsewhere. Which costs us all money. For bees and butterflies. When there are perfectly suitable (for wildlife) and native and less damaging alternatives.

I just dont see much sense in planting something i know will cost me money in damage later on.

Some of those were sterile, can't remember now, not looked at the labels for a while, but these new ones were bred specifically for that and for size.

Many of the modern hybrids are sterile, including (I think) the Buzz series, which are smaller.

Most of mine must be sterile, because I usually have about 15 around the place and rarely any seedlings from them.
