Which areas of the country do you think 'affordable' houses (i.e £100-£200k houses) will rise in value the fastest?

Eg I know with the new train line linking London to Birmingham (HS2 I think it's called) I believe a lot of properties near this station will go up in value a lot as it'll become a commuter hotspot.0 -

The problem is you have to be very early to the party as that quickly becomes priced in. If you go in too early the plans could be cancelled.0 -
Internet and tech is only getting stronger and is making it easier to work from home or portable location. Cities are currently unhealthy vs rural or coastal living. So more people are going to work from anywhere as the years go on. Also more people are getting switched on to importance of healthy living. Yet once we have all electric cars that does help cities a little from health/smog aspect. Elon musk says we'll be all electric in 10 years (dunno).
Just some random thoughts.... for £100-£200k buy somewhere healthy to live and watch the ££££££££ roll in decades later.0 -

Can you confirm how much the HS2 will cut off a journey between Brum and London?
And how much will the season ticket be?

The fact is that the population is still rapidly expending and besides the daft racist Brexit that is no ongoing immigration is still high and there are many area I can think of that are going to rocket in price before this year is out and 20200
