Anglian Home Improvement situation

Hello.
I cannot give too much details because the situation with Anglian has just begun (it would be counterproductive to state my full situation here for the time being)
What I can tell: I was pressured into signing a contract for a bespoke door, in a similar manner to other stories I've seen in reviews afterwards , for an overpriced door. I've put a 25% deposit down. That was Friday 15th.
I cancelled (I hope) Saturday 16th. by email to cancellations@angliangroup.com and CC - ed the local branch into it.
I am going Tuesday 19th for a scheduled solicitor appointment. Is there something else I can do to make sure they don't drink next weekend on my hard earned money.
Has anyone successfully tackled them within those 7 magical days and got his/her money back? After reading as many stories as I could find , most of them being tricked into waiting over the 7 day period , not that many succeeded....
This is , and I repeat, in the making . I want my deposit back and feeding information here, at this stage, may ruin the refund part.
Also. Many of the practices I've seen , looking back , they seem illegal to say the least. I cannot imagine what happens when they meet up with an elderly person . How are they allowed to roam free?
