It's worth remembering that an advisory means the car has reached the test standard - it's passed...
It's just something that the tester thinks you should be aware of. Some testers are freer with advisories than others.
That list is all consumables and a bit of basic older-car maintenance.
Odds-on that it's something as simple as yellowed UV coating on polycarb lenses. Refurb kits are cheap, and then just a bit of time.The poor beam pattern is the most worrying advisory0 -

No wonder I can't find a cheap runaround, back to Copart for me the price for bangers on the open market is crazy!
Micras of that vintage are holding their value well. My theory is it's because they're the last Micras that looked like Micras, with the distinctive bubble shape. Nissan appear to have decided the Micra is now some kind of space age Frenchified boy racer-mobile. Which seems baffling to me because what boy racer is going to go down the pub and tell his mates he just bought a full spec Micra?
Nevertheless if you want that kind of car you have to go back in the past to get one.
My other half has an 02 SE automatic which we bought a few years ago with very low mileage that appeared to have been garaged for most of it's life. I think we paid about £2300 for it and similar cars of that condition are going for more than we paid for it now which has never happened to me owning a car.
In fact, I wonder sometimes if I should have let the Almera go for so little. Very occasionally I still see the graceful curve and the clean lines of an old Almera coming towards me on the road, and think, what will people pay in a few years to recapture that era of motoring?0
