Quicken 2000 - help with backing up please?

I know it an old system, but I'm quite used to it! Now have a laptop and to back up it Quicken keeps asking for a floppy disc - which I don't have!

Any tips on how to back it up, write the back up to a CD, and be able to restore it if necessary?

When you get that message to use a floppy, click okay. You will then have the choice of selecting a different drive on the neext screen. You now have a choice, back it up to perhaps your C drive then burn to a CD from there, or maybe you have a pen drive you can back it up to simpley by selecting the drive letter of your choice. Hope that helps.
 Can anyone explain to me how to put a signature here?

BTW, restoring is just as easy, simply select the drive and directory the files are on and Bob's your Uncle.

Thanks, I'll give it a go - knew it had to be possible somehow!

Thanks, I'm sure I've tried the change of drive, but it kept rejecting it - anyway, will have another go and keep my fingers crossed!
