The price is an utter scene-tax micky-take - https://www.electricclassiccars.co.uk/ charge less than a third of that for an electric (proper) Fiat 500.

The concept isn't even new. People have been electrically converting classics for many years - it's 20yrs since a mate of mine DIY converted a 2cv, and he wasn't first by any stretch.

Various things.

• I wouldnt either
• Just because you or i wouldnt doesnt mean there isnt a market for it though
• I think this could be the start of "conversions" of older classic cars that will allow them to "survive" in a post ICE world
• I think that the market will be big for conversions in the medium to long term (even in more "normal" cars) and the cost should / will come down.
• I'm not sure i entirely see the point of this one. A big part of a classic mini - in fact most classics - is the noise, smell and power delivery of them. You'd have to be a massive mini fan with a need to run electric to pass other better cars to buy this
