Holiday clubs/not timeshare/is it a ripoff/scam

Has anyone had any experience of these companies who work in benedorm/tenerife/costas etc areas, and use the scratchcards to lure you in.,, not sell timeshare but a wholeload of benefits/holidays cheap everything etc for about 5-6000, Id love to hear your experiences.

There was some time ago on the TV a program about these - needless to say all the scratch cards will be winners !.

On a miserable day in Tenerife we "WON" :-) on one of these scratchcards.Aparently we were going to see "tenerife.com" promotion. All the bars and hotels advertise on this so called website and they were just tryinging to raise public awareness. We were "warned" that we could only stay 2 hours as it wouldn't be fair on all the other kids waiting to get on the playstations, bouncy castle. etc. Free taxi there and back. Guess what- A holiday ownership presentation. Quite interesting but not for us as our holiday only cost us £100 each and they wanted 5 grand and you would still have flights on top.
Still ,they gave us 4 bottles of spirits for visiting, our taxi home no hassle and to be honest, it wasn't really high pressure sales.
My attitude, if the weathers crap and the freebies are good,do it ,take the hospitality but DONT BUY ever
