Notice of correction not visible to me

Wonder if anyone can help; when I apply for credit I am told that there is a notice of correction on my file that causes delays and possibly issues with accessing credit. They will not tell me what’s on it and just refer me to the credit agencies.

I can see my credit reports from Experian (via MSE Credit Club) and Equifax (via ClearScore) but neither of them show any record of a notice of correction. I have no recollection of ever requesting one.

I’m completely stuck and no idea how to find out what this notice is - can anyone help or advise please? Thanks!!

Have you looked at your credit file from TransUnion? You can see your TransUnion report via Noddle

Have you requested such a notice of correction?
Who tells you about it's existence?
What happens when you apply for credit? Do you get approved in the end?
How many times have you been told this?

Have you checked your credit files to see if a search has been carried out with that particular CRA by the company that you have applied to? That way you will be ab;e to see which CRA they have used.
