2 Tesco bank accounts - Do I need 6 Direct Debits?

I see Tesco offer 3% interest on up to £3k. I'll need to pay in £750 and 3 DDs. Getting 3 DDs is going to be a struggle but possible.

I read there's a trick to open 2 accounts to 3% on up to £6k. Does this mean I'll need 6 DDs as that's going to be a major struggle for me.

Open up 2 post office savings accounts. Then set up weekly DD's. This will satisfy the T&C's

    Thanks all.

Could one of my direct debits be between from my Tesco savings account? This way I won't actually be losing money.

Fundamental question time: Does your Tesco savings account even offer a deposit facility by direct debit?...from any bank, not just Tesco.

You can no longer have a direct debit on a savings account

    Thanks all for the clarity.

I was considering setting up a direct debit with PayPal. Paypal will take money out of my Tesco account each month. I can then manually send it back into my Tesco account. Will that work? Cheers
