Did Airbus break even on the development costs? I remember back when they first started the programme that some commentators were saying the market for it was uncertain.jackieblack wrote: »I just felt generally less comfortable and I got off feeling more ‘woolly headed’ than usual and with a splitting headache that I’ve never experienced after any other flight, or in fact any time at all - I very rarely get headaches at all (in fact I can’t remember having any other headaches than these in the last 5 years).
Thanks. So the better cabin pressure and supposedly cleaner air in the 787 did not seem to help. Wonder wherher they are running them with more (stale) air being recirculated... :think:0 -

I think it is the higher amount of air recirculation, when less fresh air from outside is taken in, that causes the headaches etc. If I'm not mistaken, this depends on the airline, not the aircraft, and how they adjust the fresh air intake. The more fresh air the higher their cost in fuel to heat it, so when they economise you feel the effects.
That makes sense, but I’ve only experienced these headaches flying on 787s, not after flights on other aircraft with the same airlines. In fact some other flights with one of the same airlines have been amongst the most comfortable and pleasant I’ve experienced. Weird. Maybe it was just a coincidence, I’ll probably never know.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07
