Yes, it's quite obvious from your original post that you want the courier to bear the cost of the taxation. That is not going to happen I'm afraid, regardless of the tax being already paid.

The website is not in a position to know the tax implications for its customers. That's the customer's job.

I don't think the OP needed an explanation of his tax liability though, he just wants the courier to pay the tax.

There's lots of information online and on MSE about import charges. As people don't research before buying a sticky is unlikely to help.
