Seems to me the OP took their own food into the car park and didn't buy anything from either establishment!0

To clarify, I purchased food from one establishment, and drove into Starbucks' car park to eat it. I don't really have a defense (nothing good anyway, above and beyond "I didn't see signs" etc). Should I simply pay up then? If 99% of "cases" end up with small claims, then perhaps it is the best option?0

MOST fake PCN never go anywhere near small claims!
The 99% figure we repeat here is the proud forum record, that, of those small % of cases that DO go to small claims, we see wins 99% of the time.

Is there any indication as to what sort of probability there is for NPE taking this all the way to small claims in the case that I completely ignore everything they send?0 -
There used to be a list of court claims by companies but that's no longer kept. IMHO I think it's very unlikely from NPE, as we almost never see them mentioned.
