Wedding venue issues

Hi we recently married and spent a year discussing our wedding with the venue. I had no worries that they would follow our wishes. We had a lovely day but there were issues as follows
1. We had 60 day guests on 6 tables. By the time we had eaten our meal some tables were only just getting their food.
2. Bar ran out of some beverages when we had specifically asked if there would be any issues and was told everything would be fine
3. Our cake was meant to be cut and put out with the evening buffet. We didn't realise it hadn't been cut until the following morning when we found it still in the room on the table where it had been all day. I asked what was happening and the hotel receptionist was very surprised it was still there. She said the chef would cut it into pieces so we could transport home but was busy at the moment. I waited an hour and in the end got a knife and chopped my own wedding cake into chunks in order to fit into boxes. The cake was 4 tiers. We went away on honeymoon the next day so was unable to distribute it all. It was wasted really.
We have contacted the venue who have said the following.
1.they had a shortage of staff on the day due to sickness so service was not as It should have been.
2. They had a problem with a supplier earlier in the week so bar stocks were low
3. They agreed it was not good for me to have to cut my own wedding cake.
They have offered us afternoon tea for 10 guests as a way of apology. This total £195. Is this acceptable? I'm not really sure how to respond

Do you find it acceptable? I would jump at the offer myself.
What happened was only a very minor thing in the grand scheme.0 -
That sounds a generous offer for minor inconvenience.0

blimey, as a long time ago bride, I was more than happy to cut our wedding cake.
I would accept their offer.
You / OH or immediate wedding party should have noticed the cake was not cut, as for the bar, I have been to may a party where it has been 'drunk dry' of beer etc, folk just drink other items.
