Armed Forces: Manchester Metrolink

Afternoon all,

I’m not sure if this is common knowledge or even been on this forum before. However, something that I have recently discovered is that for those currently serving in the Armed Forces recieve free travel across the Manchester Metrolink System Monday-Friday (0930-0000) and all day weekends when the present their MOD 90.

Veterens also recieve free travel on Armed Forces day, Armictice Day and Remembrace Sunday all day when carrying their veterans badge. This also applies to cadets in uniform.

I’m not sure when this has been in since but I’ve seen arcticles dated back to 2016 on this. It’s just not very well advertised.

It will certainly save me money when back home.
