I think that would be key, OP did the label say RM24/48 or 1st/2nd?

If it just says 24/48 the service won't have compensation, if 1st/2nd then with Signed For is covered upto £50. If it says Tracked 24/48 it may have compensation, I'm not sure with regards to RM Tracked by from the OP it doesn't sound like this service was used anyway.

Other option is email the UK MD office at Amazon with details of the A-Z claim and a copy of the letter from Royal Mail.

Royal Mail Signed For, don't know whether 1st or 2nd class, but both should be covered up to £50. (The actual order was about £25)

The other problem is getting the required evidence off the seller for me to make the claim. As far as I'm aware I would need the Post Office receipt for the service (even though I also have the letter from RM), and currently the seller is not responding to me at all!
