Oh boy you had to ask that question didn't you?
It goes down like a sack of poop round here.

I asked the same question a while ago and got shot for it, even when i explained to people i had a stroke (brain injury for the irrelevant) and i am not able to think the way i used too and would have been happy to pay the 20 or 30% they wanted, following my stroke i now have a concentration span of somewhere between 5-10 minutes and going through all my paperwork is out of the question, IMO this is some kind of discrimination but nobody cares.

Anyway in the long run i have been able to find a local mental health chairty to help with mine, as for CMC I have yet to find anyone say anything good about them in large numbers mainly because people think they do nothing for their money, but if you can't be bothered to do it yourself for whatever reason (and not for me to judge you) then i say go for it after all doing nothing yourself you will get zero yet using a CMC you may well get 70% of something, you have hathing to lose.

The problem is that as you were advised at the time, claims firms require you to do all the work and they post it off. You don't seem to understand how they work. Your financial records (such as who you had a card with, your job, salary, benefits etc) are not in the public domain, so if you want a CMC to do the complaint for you, you have to provide all the same details that you'd need to make the complaint yourself, to the CMC so they can do it for you. If you can provide that information to the CMC, you can complain yourself. CMCs employee students, housewives etc who work for minimum wage, note down what they think you said, fill in a template letter full of irrelevant things and lies and hope something sticks. They harm your complaint and take a cut for just posting a letter.

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

  • Ahh Alloneword - says has absolutely no time or capacity to make a simple complaint... yet has LOADS of time whine on people’s posts?!
