Wrong parcel.

I recently made an order from ebay but I received the wrong item, fedex lost my parcel and will not help me.

However it all checks out as my item as the parcel has my name and address on it and I am happy to keep the item I received.

Am I allowed to keep it or is this unsolicited goods?

There's a lot of nonsense written out there about unsolicited goods - the relevant legislation is about goods deliberately sent to you out of the blue (followed up with a bill) (aka "inertia marketing"), not things which have been accidentally sent to you (e.g. a seller who has put the wrong thing in the parcel).
