Unsolicited e-mails from ICICI Bank

I have received 3 e-mails welcoming me as a customer. Until today I had never heard of them and certainly haven't applied for an account. Should I delete the e-mails or complain using their complaints procedure on the web without responding to the e-mails?

First step would be to confirm if the emails are genuine...

Thanks. I checked the e-mail address was actually from them and it came from:
services@custcomm.icicibank.com
which appears to be genuine so I've made a formal complaint to:
ukservice@icicibank.com
which came off their official website.0 -
It's very easy to spoof an email address so that doesn't prove they did send it? Does it ask you to sign in to an account? Or do anything else such as click on a link to validate something?0

Anyone can send an email with any "from" address they like. Hence my suggestion to confirm the email is genuine first of all.
If it isn't genuine, then you may be the target of an attempted phishing attack. If it is genuine, then you may be the victim of attempted identity theft. Neither of which would warrant a complaint, but the latter would be worth taking up with ICICI - preferably more urgently than by email.0
