Paying in Santander cheques at the Post Office

Like many people I don't get many cheques so it's been a while since I've paid one in. I found out today that the process for paying in cheques to Santander accounts has changed.
the new paying in envelopes are white, not the old brown ones with green writing. To pay in a cheque at a Post Office, you will need a deposit envelope and a paying in slip along with the cheque you want to deposit.
You can order both of these pieces of stationary by requesting these through Secure Message. Please include the last four digits of your account number and your full personal address in this request.
Once you complete the paying in slip and seal this in the envelope with the cheque, the Post Office employee will scan your card and provide you with a receipt for the envelope (not the amount). The envelope will then be forwarded to the processing centre to be treated as a postal cheque deposit.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.
