2 months reasonable time for repairs for 1 year old car?

My car is Dec 2017 model.
I took it in Dec 2018 for service and list of issues.
They still have my car (so 2 months without my car) and I've had no to little communication from them.
They have given me a lower class courtesy car.
What is the next step if the dealer and their customer department ignores you.
Emails and call logs all saved.
What would you do?

Depends as to why they've kept it. Some models have massive spare parts shortages, especially in the first year or so of production (manufacturer too busy pumping out whole cars to make any spares!).

What reason does the dealer give?

Have you been in to speak to them.

Why have they still got it

Ask for a upper class courtesy car if the lower class one bothers you

When I had my car from new, someone had cracked the rear bumper, they had to order the parts from Germany, it took about 6 weeks , although differently to you I had the same class of car (almost (in my case Audi TTD quattro)).

    A few details would help:
    1. What car is involved?
    2. What was the "list of isues"?
In the past I've had a one year old car that was in the garage for nearly 4 months for non-accident repairs.

    Not that unusual.

Happened to us this time last year, the dealer and HQ couldn't have given a s**t.

Lie after lie, phone calls not returned when promised, incorrect info, different info given to me than to my wife.

When we got the car back after about 9 weeks two of the three warranty jobs hadn't been done. Probably because it was written on a scrap of paper when we handed the car over.

They also lost the locking wheel nut key and denied they had ever had it, despite it being handed over when we booked the car in.

A service was due while they had the car and they did this free of charge, or they gave us a piece of paper saying it had been done. No idea if it had been.
