Total heating total control - not!!!
We currently have a prepayment meter with sse for electric which is on their total heating total control tariff. Our house is all electric with night storage heaters. I have just tried to change our meter from prepayment to a billable meter and been told my direct debit will be over £250 a month due to this tariff which is apparently more expensive to pay by direct debit. I’m curious if anyone has any experience with this and could point me in the right direction, I already feel like I pay through the nose for electric (£50 per week sometimes more) and would like to save some money if I can. I thought it was just a case of changing meters and finding the best deal but starting to think I’m better off jut leaving things the way they are 🤔
