shortly i will be my mothers full time carer and will be leaving work to do it,will i be able to claim jsa and carers allowance plus i don't want to mess my mothers money up as she receives the higher rate,thanks

If your mother lives alone she will likely receive the Severe Disability Premium. If you claim carers allowance this will stop.0

You won't be able to claim JSA as you won't be actively looking for employment0

You could however claim Universal Credit as a carer depending on your personal circumstances.0

You said she receives the higher rate. There's 2 parts to DLA and for you to claim Universal credit as a carer or claim carers allowance then she needs to be claiming DLA mid/high rate care.0
