This was discussed I think at length on here some years ago so sorry to bring it up again because I'm not sure if things have changed with them.
I think last year I started to fill out a form online with them but didn't complete it. I then got a call from Halifax because I had a credit card with them and they are dealing with my claim. Now I think the UClaim one did send me forms which I tore up. But now they have sent me a couple of letters saying I owe them £1,000 and I don't know where this has come from. I havn't even got any money from Halifax claim yet. I certainly havnt signed anything. I was unsure whether to contact them in case it was all a scam. Can anyone help.

You can contact uclaim. Indeed, failure to resolve it could lead to escalation and the courts do not look favourably on those that obstruct and ignore.
Ask uclaim for a copy of the signed contract.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
