Manufacturer Warranty not being honoured as I bought from an ebay outlet.

A set of Creative Inspire T6300 speakers has failed 1 month after their 12 month warranty with the retailer ran out.
I bought them brand new from the Currys eBay outlet in January 2018 but because of this, the manufacturer will not cover the speakers with their 24 month warranty which applies to items sold in the UK;
"Regarding your inquiry, please note that that we do not offer warranty for products purchased via Ebay. The coverage is only offered for brand new products purchased from our online store or the official retailers."
Are they allowed to refuse a warranty because I bought the speakers from the Currys ebay outlet rather than the Currys online store?

Afriad so. The warranty is above and beyond your statutory rights, so they can apply their own conditions to it.0 -
A warranty can have conditions attached to it.
Not your only route though. You have statutory rights against seller - if its an inherent fault (rather than wear and tear or damage) and you can prove it to be so* - you can pursue the seller directly.
*After 6 months the onus of proof is on you.0 -
