Signing into Amazon Prime Video on Samsung TV

Hi

I just signed up for Amazon Prime and now have access to Prime Video. I would like to watch the programmes on my Samsung smart TV which has the Prime Video app already downloaded.

My question is how to I sign in for the first time on my TV with my Amazon userrname and password as my TV remote control only has numbers and not letters? I have spent ages trying to figure this out and I know there must be a simple answer but for the life of me I cannot figure it out.

The remote is used to select the letters etc as you highlight them

I must be doing something wrong as keyboard not appearing on my screen. I am getting username and password and that is it

^This. You'll use your remote's navigation buttons to select the letters from the keyboard that'll appear when prompted to put in your username/password.

You have to use the nav buttons on the remote to select the username and password boxes.
