Who are ClearScore and what do they do?

A friend suggested I check my credit score on ClearScore, they use figures produced by the big three credit score companies. But I’ve never heard of ClearScore before. Who are they?

They provide your credit report from Equifax for free.

You can safely ignore the score as it's of no relevance to anything.

Noddle is free for Callcredit
Money CLub on MSA is for Experian

I signed up for Clearscore yesterday as someone on here suggested it after I was turned down for a cheap mobile phone contract (since overturned by a 2 line email to Three).


My Clearscore comes out as 505 out of 700, yet my CreditExpert (Experian) comes back as 995 out of 999, so theres some kind of discrepancy, or like others have already said, they're not really worth taking much notice of

The "scores" are different as Clearscore pulls data from Equifax and CreditExpert is Experian.

But either way, as you've rightly pointed out, the scores mean diddly anyway
