Trying to clear a card to save

Payments are allocated to statemented balances before unstatemented on nearly all cards.

If you pay before the statement, the payment won't clear the purchases. It will clear the BT.

You'll need to understand your allocation of payments to make sure you know how each balance will be treated.

We don't intend making any purchases on the hubbys BT card not sure where that came from, just purely using it to transfer my balance thats in my name only with another provider (that I'm paying interest on) to hubbys (in his name only) new BT card with 0% interest.
If that makes more sense, sorry if Ive confused you. The new card being offered is Virgin Money.

Ah right now I understand. Only concern we have now is will Virgin accept BT from a card in a different name. Is there a list somewhere of providers that allow different name balance transfers?
