Using a Electricity Bill Calculator
Hello I'm with solarplicity and my bill calculation is different to SC calculation. I also used electricitybillcalculator.com. Can anyone tell me if the EBC website is precise when calculating? Breakdown Units used 114 - Price per unit 0.1244 Amount of days 53 - Daily standing charge 0.1113 VAT @ 5%: £1.00 Total £21.08 When i did it in my head i made it £21.09. Yet SC calculation is £22.53 Can anyone tell me which total they think is right? Thanks

I calculated £21.084525 from your values but did no rounding at any point in the calculation. 1p is probably a rounding issue at some stage in the working out.
How SC got £22 and change, I have no idea.0 -
Thanks for replies.
I'm an old miser, one bar only policy!Cor, that's cheap!
As you have calculated £21.084 also, it seems that i may have been overcharged. Since being with SC my bills have seemed under and and over. Yet if you email them to query a bill you never get a reply.I calculated £21.084525
Thanks again0
