Anyone know if this is a good price for a used X-Trail?

Looking for a largish 4x4 SUV. Found an X-trail, 10 years old with 80,000 on the clock. Looks in good condition, full Nissan service history. test drove it and seems good, no obvious noises or issues. All electrics seem to work, no sat nav or parking camera. Local dealer (semi rural Devon town) has it up for £7000, I offered £6000 plus our car part ex which isn't really worth more than £500, they have come back with £6250 plus ours part ex and will get parking sensors fitted for us (so £67500). Dealer has standard 3 month warranty. Looking on Honest John and Parkers gives a guide price (taking into account the actual mileage) of £6460 - £6800. I told them i couldn't afford more and have left it at that to see if they come back, but was wondering if anyone can advise whether they think this is a good price. We can afford it but will need to get roof bars fitted which will cost approx £200 so would like to save more if possible. Any advice greatly received. Thanks :)

Carry out a search on Autotrader and then ebay. It will give you a good price range from the bottom (ebay lemons) to top (dealership minters).

I'd say its on the high side for its age.

One thing to consider though is whether you live in an area thats introducing a LEZ in the upcoming years, as many are and I believe the x-trail only did a diesel model, but i might be wrong.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride
