I think it depends on what you use and how you use it. I’ve been using a posture corrector with some success.
It recommended to use it for multiple, small chunks of time during the day and build up the length - and that’s what I did. I found it was purely a reminder - it did none of the work for me, just got uncomfortable if I let my shoulders start to hunch again.
Combining this with flexibility training and muscle building exercises have made my posture significantly better - so much so I wish I’d taken before and after photos, but unfortunately, I thought it was all a bit of a crock until I gave it a go.0
