Aldi, Careparking/Anchor ticket, Preston

I have just received a windscreen ticket from Careparking at Aldi, Preston. Careparking are BPA and the car is a lease car. Lease company already instructed not to pay the request for money as an appeal will be lodged.
I have taken another parking company to court previously and won so understand what happens.
I know about this site and the planning permission which should grant 3 hrs parking. I will be contacting Aldi CEO and local press also.
My first question is that the ticket mentions 'abused patron parking reason 22' but I can't find reason 22 anywhere or what that is. My assumption is that it means the car was parked incorrectly. The photos show the vehicle parked properly. My last question is, is the company allowed to take photos of the occupants of vehicles on site or just the vehicle to use as evidence?
We would take this to court.

Reason 22 will be one of their internal lists of breaches! Means nothing much.
PPCs do take photos of people outside and this isn't illegal as long as it's not intrusive, IIRC.My last question is, is the company allowed to take photos of the occupants of vehicles on site or just the vehicle to use as evidence?

Don't you mean they took you to court?

as you know about the 3 hr period , you should also know that planning permission granted back in 1999 , was on condition that visitors to the site could also leave it and use local shops
PE , when they were there did not try conning people for leaving site , they did lower the time to 1 hr 20mins tho
care seem to be coining in on the "leaving site"0 -

Feedback at the time would have been really helpful to the forum and other motorists following the same path.
I'm rather reticent about offering help if there is a chance there will little or no reciprocation in terms of feedback. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Apologies, yes that's correct, ES Parking for Spinningfields Manchester, did take me to court and I began a thread on this in the forum and supported others and shared the paperwork after winning. I will link to the article when I'm able.
Regarding this one, my husband is keen not to go down the appeals to Popla route (will use template letter) but i am more keen to go to Popla. We are both prepared to take this to court, but which is best?0 -
remind the CEO and indeed care parking that you have possession of the planning for this site (ex loxhams garage) from 1999 , and clearly marked is the provision that people could leave site to use local amenities
Parking eye backed down very quickly when I challenged them about this0 -
Tell your husband that POPLA is clearly a no-brainer, given that we usually win, and the decision isn't binding so even a loss at POPLA doesn't disadvantage anyone if they later fight a court claim.
POPLA is also a simple online paper exercise, so much easier, if it does the trick!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I disagree with CM, court is the way to go, every time. Not only does a win send a clear message, it gives you a chance to claim unreasonable behaviour costs, and perhaps do them some real damage through media coverage, papers are not interested in goings on at PoPLA
Have you complained to your MP?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
care parking seem to take on hopeless cases (metrolink - bylaws) I wonder if not many companies were interested in providing parking control at this site OWNED by aldi
unlike PE they seem to have not only ANPR but "the man on foot" to try and hoover up extra business [STRIKE]unsuspecting customers[/STRIKE]
in the 18 mths or so they have been on site , I have not heard of a single court claim yet0
