Vertical Blind installation, too wide?
Comments
-
My apartment block has tilt-and-turn windows, as do others locally (converted offices). We have Venetian blinds (horizontal) inside the window reveal, and drapes outside the window reveal. The blind slats are slim metal and so take up very little space when the blind is not in use.
Vertical blinds are unsuitable for many tilt-and-turn windows because they prevent the window being able to be used as a fire escape. Depending on the property you live in the blinds may be breaching fire regs, your long lease or your home insurance.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
Fitted by an idiot. Get them back to fit it with a top mounted bracket, the problem then is that the blind will be too short. Is there not a gap above the window ? Any blind fitter should be aware of the workings of tilt and turn, they are pretty common now.0

Sadly it appears that that is exactly what the OP got. A blind fitter. :cool:0
