Sadly this happens a lot round our way. Police resourcing issues mean they will not attend to shop lifting, simple burglary, RTC without injuries, car theft etc.
A number of chief constables have spoken about the issue and the goverment response has been ' we are providing more this year ' .
Social services are in an even worse state...
Depends on your political view where you see the issue going...
This so - called " victimless crime" , involves often female retail staff who are justifiably scared.
They are on minimal wage, but whatever they don't have enough tough management, or
management they can call instantly
The staff here who may live locally are quite possibly fearful, worried or terrified and suffering from intimidation.
Is this not an issue akin to harassment0 -
Disgusting the police not taking any action especially taking into account all that tax Boots pay.
