COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN

There will be 1 chance to win each day from 1600 - 1900 between Monday 11th February and Friday 15th February 2019. Within this time, presenters will open the phone lines and ask listeners to call in to take part.

When instructed, listeners must call the Absolute Radio studio via 0330 123 1215. The presenter or producer will choose two lines at random from the switchboard and the eligible entrants who get through to the presenter will have the opportunity to take part. The presenter will ask each caller off air if they will share or steal the prize money.

The two entrants will work together to answer questions. They will be asked 4 questions, each question will be worth £500. The entrants must work together, to discuss the answers to the questions before submitting the answer. For each question they answer correctly, they will receive £500 in the prize fund. If they do not answer the question correctly, they will not win the £500 allocated for that question. The time they have to discuss will be determined by the presenter. If they do not answer when prompted by the presenter they will not win the prize for that question.

Once they have answered the four questions, they will have an amount of money reserved in the 'bank.' This will either be:

£500 if one question answered correctly
£1000 if two questions answered correctly
£1500 if three questions answered correctly
£2000 if four questions answered correctly
They must decide if they are going to 'stay loyal' and share the money, or steal the money for themselves.

There are three outcomes that will then happen...

Both listeners say 'Share' – in which case they will split their winnings equally
One listener says 'Share' and the other says 'Steal'... the stealer will then take all the money won for themselves and the other entrant will not win anything.
Both listeners say 'Steal', in which case they will not win anything.


The presenters will play on air, the decision each entrant made earlier on in the phone call. This decision is final.

The decision of the presenter and producer is final and no debate will be entered into

By phone by calling studio number 0330 123 1215 during the times and dates specified in item 3. Calls from landlines will be charged at local rate.

3. DATES

Start Date and End Date: From 16:00 on Monday 11th February 2019 to 19:00 on Friday 15th February 2019.

The Competition Rounds will take place on the following dates, between the following times:

Monday 11th February (16:00-19:00)
Tuesday 12th February (16:00-19:00)
Wednesday 13th February (16:00-19:00)
Thursday 14th February (16:00-19:00)
Friday 15th February (16:00-19:00)
