NCP Fine - Wrong Reg Entered - POPLA Appeal lost

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone on this website who has helped me so far.
On 19/9/18 I received a PCN for not paying for parking for my own, personal car at North Greenwich Underground Car Park on 10/9/18. This came as a surprise as I entered my reg into the machine, paid for parking and put my ticket on the dashboard. On closer inspection, I had used a hybrid reg of mine and my wife's reg, the ticket was automatically printed for this reg.
Stupidly, I didn't check these forums first, I wrote to NCP to state that I had been on a train to London that day, there was a fatality, I got a taxi back from Woking to Farnborough and then drove to the o2. I paid £25, the correct sum for parking, stupidly I expected them to understand my predicament. They didn't, they came up with some nonsense about a £10 admin fee.
At that point, I researched many posts on these forums and prepared my 6 page pdf POPLA appeal. NCP responded to my appeal in Decemeber and provided a load of evidence to counter the many points that I raised. Reading through this evidence, there was a flow chart which stated that their ANPR should have informed me that the reg that I entered was incorrect and suggested I correct it. This didn't happen, the machine simply printed a ticket for the incorrect reg.
Last week, I received notification that my POPLA appeal had failed. I received a FINAL REMINDER of the now £100, from NCP on Saturday, of which I have no intention of paying. In fact, I am tempted to write back to them informing them that I paid my parking, have no debt with them and will not tolerate being harassed or being the victim of a scam.
Having read many posts on here, thanks again for providing such a great service, I know that my case would be thrown out of court. I paid £25 to park, NCP have suffered no loss.
Is there anything else that I can do at this stage? Apart from ignore it all? I have contacted my local MP about this. I know that they don't have a leg to stand on, I just cannot be bothered with any extra hassle from some inbred debt collection agency

Just ignore until you get a LBC or a claim form.0

As nosferatu1001 says above
Ignore any and all moron debt collectors.
Whatever happened to the £25 you paid ????? Is this a scam to extort more money from you.
If it goes to court, first question to ask a judge, as this inflates the charge to £125 ????0 -

This is one of the reasons you should win if this went to court. However, if they set the cameras to do this they would make far less money.
Many judges regard incorrect VRNs as a trifling matter,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_minimis. Let them take you to court if they think they will win, imo they will struggle.
The whole industry is a scam, relying on threats of court, and the public's ignorance of the Law, A bill is currently before parliament which will regulate the scammers, many of whom are ex-clampers.
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of alleged contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors. Is has been suggested by an MP that some of these companies may have connections to organised crime.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, (especially Smart}, and others have already been named and shamed in the House of Commons as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week), hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
The problem has become so widespread that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers.
Sir Greg Knight's Private Members Bill to curb the excesses, and perhaps close down, some of these companies passed its Second Reading in the Lords this month, and, with a fair wind, will l become Law later this year..
All five readings are available to watch on the internet, (some 7-8 hours), and published in Hansard. MPs have an extremely low opinion of the industry. Many are complaining that they are becoming overwhelmed by complaints from members of the public. Add to their burden, complain in the most robust terms about the scammers. l
and a was5e of court time. The fact that PoPLA upheld the PCN says a lot about PoPLA, where they can, they will support the PCN who pay their wages.

Thanks a lot for your replies guys, I appreciate it.
As I said, I did a lot of reading of these forums, the STICKY included, in building my case over the last couple of months. I guess I just wanted reassurance, I'll keep you posted of any developments.
Re: beamerguy - NCP's response to my initial letter to them (big mistake on my part) was "We have considered the case carefully and have decided to reject your appeal on the following grounds :
We have searched using the cashless parking system and have located a payment on the date the above notice was issued, however the vehicle registration on your cashless account does not match that of the vehicle which was parked. It is the responsibility of the motorist to ensure that the correct vehicle registration mark is active and that the details are correct.
As a gesture of good will (FLOL!!) on this occasion, we have reduced the PCN to a £10 admin fee".

Tarunn, if you have a parking issue you would like help with then please start your own thread as trying to deal with the issues of more than one person in a single thread can only lead to confusion.0
