DRO - Last delinquent date
Hi, I hope I explain this right.
I had a DRO agreed in February 2014 and have two accounts in still marked as being in arrears, but in my SETTLED ACCOUNTS on my credit score.
One is an old Barclay account with £2359 which Status: DEFAULT February 2014
The second is a Barclaycard Status: DEFAULT September 2017 and a balance of £2150 on it
What I don't understand is I have February 2014 marked as a delinquent dateon both of these accounts. Looking into that, a delinquent date falls off your file in 7 years, rather than 6.
Also, shouldn't these balances be set to: £0?
My other debts:
MBNA is £0 Status: Settled in 2015
Tesco £0 Status: Settled August 2016
All four come in my SETTLED ACCOUNTS file
My credit score is being damaged by the two Barclay ones 'Whats holding you back' section . Is there anything I can do?

Can you post a link to what you have found about a delinquent date extending the period that an entry stays on your credit report, because that is a new concept to me.
My understanding is that in your situation the correct mark is DEFAULT February 2014 & zero balance.
Anything else - you should complain.0 -

https://www.experian.com/blogs/ask-experian/delinquency-cannot-be-removed-after-on-time-payments/How Long Do Late Payments Remain On the Report?
Late payments remain in your credit history for seven years from the original delinquency date, which is the date the account first became late. They cannot be removed after two years, but the further in the past the late payments occurred, the less impact they will have on credit scores and lending decisions.
Thanks for asking.0 -
This is quoted from Experian.com, this usually applies to North America and Canada.
In the UK its Experian.co.uk, and you will find the period for defaults/delinquent accounts to show is 6 years.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
