cleaning drainage channel

hi
can anyone advise how to clean drainage (similar to: A15 Drainage Channel x 1m Galvanised Grate) to get rid of weeds and mud stuck.

The grate normally lifts off.

The grate should lift off. Try tapping it fairly hard with a hammer a number of times.
That should loosen it.

Sometimes you need a tool to remove the grate like a key, check the ends of each section for a hole. Once the grate is off get your hands in there in some decent gauntlets. Its great stuff for garden planters that comes out usually, very rich.
