shower hot water trouble

Options
Hi
I have a question about my shower. I had my boiler broken earlier last month. It was covered through my home emergency insurance and repaired, however since then we had trouble with our shower, not giving any hot water whilst rest of the property is fine.

i spoke to my insurance again and they advised that because broken shower is not causing any damaged to the rest of the property and we already have another bathroom with bath tub (which no one uses as all use shower) therefore they can not process the request. please advise how to tackle this issue.

thanks.

You’ll have to pay for a plumber / electricuan to sort it...it’s not an emergency.
  • Didn't the repair come with a warranty? Or is it past due the warranty?

If your shower was giving hot water up until the boiler repair, I would be going back to the insurance company and asking them to send someone to investigate why. Be polite but firm.

    Is shower electric?

Sometimes these have the element damaged when the water is cut off.
