Depends what investments you hold but consider iWeb or Jarvis X-O neither of which charge an ongoing custody fee for general investment accounts or ISAs.
Still sometimes it can be better to pay a custody fee for lower transaction costs depending on your account balance and contribution pattern.

Halifax SD operate iWeb so it's really just a question of which account fee structure suits you best. I have found them to be very competent and like that they also offer funds.
Jarvis X-O is a more traditional for stocks, ITs and ETFs.

We also had shares in Equiniti and they have told us about a new custardy fee they are introducing in April, We have moved our shares to Saga they operate their share account through Equiniti but have no charges ( I phoned and asked them) they said that they cant guarantee that there will not be any fees introduced in the future but there are none at the moment.0
