Can’t get MSE on my iPad 2

Options
I have an iPad 2 with software if 9.3.5
Safari won’t load the MSE website. It starts but never completes. So I tried to get the chrome or Firefox browsers via the App Store but it says not supported on this iPad. What can I do? Thanks.

  • Try the following If only one webpage or website isn't working, you can remove data related to that site to see if it fixes the issue. Use these steps to remove cookies, cache, and other data stored by Safari for a specific site:
    1. Choose Safari > Preferences.
    2. Click the Privacy icon.
    3. Click the Details button.
    4. Search for the name or domain of the website whose data you want to remove.
    5. In the results list, click the domain (in this case MSE) that has data you want to remove.
    6. Click Remove.
    7. When you're finished, click Done and close the preferences window.
    8. Try to load MSE site.

I've never used Safari on mine. Just use Chrome and Opera with no issues.

I've got Chrome running on an iPad 2, but I installed it years ago.

Apparently, the iPad 2 is now unable to accept further iOS updates, so that may have something to do with it....

I had noticed that compared to my iPhone my Ipad2wasn’t as up to date. Iphone is 10 something and iPad is 9.3.5.
I don’t particularly want to buy a new iPad.

I have problems too. i can access the forums ok, but on the main site, only the top of a page loads. Think the ipad2 is just too old to cope with pic heavy pages
