Servicing usually includes basic parts oil filter/oil top up etc though It's been a few years since I used that dealership.
MOT pack is for mot certificate, any wear and tear tyres etc are chargeable.
I've decided to collect the car Sat early a.m.
I'm currently considering if we buy an car will pay their website value of my current car 52130-if I were to agree 5k then I could pay off finance and make a few pounds (including 300 for deposit )-I visit wbac tomorrow evening and called dealership of latest car who advised I can sell my car privately if I wish.
Thanks mser's my only serious concerns with my latest Clio purchase this Sat_
1. 5 yr 60mth term
2. 2015 Clio-could it have enough value in 36 mths time if for any reason I need to trade in for a newer model.
Apart from those concerns re payments are negligible as only 15-20 pounds less of a difference.
I am looking forward to .9 Clio Silver 7kmiles though agree exceptionally high overall cost and term.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0 -
If you must change car, and you want to rebuild credit rating, how about a personal loan, then go and buy whatever car you like for cash. Can you get a approved at a better rate this way?
You're asking about the future value of your car - look at whatever age of Clio you'll be getting rid of now - 6 year old or whatever, and match engine, spec and mileage as close as possible, And remember to cut a bit off the asking price. AND most importantly don't count on it, as it's pure speculation. Sounds like a big gamble to me.
Years away from personal loan-defaults to drop off .
6 year old 2012 Clio's being advertised 3.5 or 4 /5 k. Tonight
It could be possible to trade in my soon to be purchased 2015 Clio 2022/2023 with 25-30k miles, hopefully enough trade in to clear finance.
Possible balance of 2015 Clio in 36 months time 4.5kReplenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0 -
Cancelled we buy any car appointment today even with a site price of 5.2k for my Clio (I ow 4.6k)
Going to collect my soon to be 2015 Clio Saturday morning.
All things considered even 3.5 years old and 185*60 I'm almost certain I'll enjoy for at least 3 or more years.
Then I'll know if it could realistically be traded in or if I would need to drive through the 60 months.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0 -
So you will be paying £11100 for a car that is already 3.5 years old. You do know that the same car can be purchased brand new for £11900.
At the end of the 5 years finance term expert it to be worth around £1500 to £2000 if the engine lasts that long. Very small capacity heavily boosted engines don't have a good track record for durability.
Seems utter insanity to me but its your money so enjoy your newer car.0 -
Hi,
If I buy a used car on HP or using a personal loan do I need gap insurance and if so, what type. I’m happy with like for like ans don’t need a new vehicle to replace an older one if I make a claim for an accident, ect. So I don’t want to pay extra for a policy I didn’t need. I understanding it would help clear any outstanding finance (either personal loan of HP) so I’m unsure what to get, if any at all. Please can you help? Thanks. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

The Brand New Costs are of no immediate concern as I won;t get credit on one without a Guarantor which I dont have and wouldn't ask anyone.
Even 2018 clios are from high 9Ks' upto 11 or 12k with my rating unachievable on my own.
I have never stated I'm getting an amazing deal though hopefully the 7k miles are genuine enough and probably best Clio I could get below 10k miles.
I could have a others suggested run my current Clio for another 2 years and then trade in, no guessing what petrol cars will cost, maybe Electric will become common and petrol could have limited trade in value-only a guess not to be taken seriously.
My slight concern is where I'll be in term of owning over 4K in 3 years and if trade in clears that or close to it.
I have run a 02 Clio purchased 2005 with low mileage until 20014 -then traded it in which was taKen as the deposit..
This new deal does seem expensive though with Part Time earnings and my homeowner mortgage costs, the rate is slightly higher this time. I've decided it could be a nice move for next 3-5 years.
Thanks, do you mind guessing what trade in value could be after 36 months as it could become an option though with my 6k average miles p.a. Then I could maybe run it for full 5 years.
Until 09:30-10:00 a.m. tomorrow, I'll re post when hopefully home in my latest Clio.

All I can say is that you are crazy. You still have a DMP and you want to get yourself in more debt at a bad rate and then are talking about chucking that one in part way through. Poor credit plus any VTs will make you even more unattractive to lenders.
Stick to the end of the term of your present car is my advice finish paying that.0 -

I don't understand what vt is as I only use hp as I have been declined for pcp twice during 018/2019-my original post was as I thought the Clio I'm picking up tomorrow was pcp it since changed to hp.
I appreciate going full 48mths term is sensible as I have done a few times, this time I'm trading in early with intention of reviewing any options after 36months.
Maybe thi Clio could run 60 months.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0 -
Thanks mser's for what was though to be a PCP enquiry.
Collected my 2015 .9 Clio today -it does indeed have 7k miles.
Now the expensive part, have the credit agreement home, 10% apr -that will explain the 11 k over 60months total cost.
Interesting as there is a credit decision sheet of paper, of all the cars I've purchased this is a 1st seeing various lenders decision -four declines two acceptance.
I'm genuinely pleased I can purchase a car since changing to part time hours/earnings since 2017.
Dmp is entering last 36 months-more defaults to drop off this year.
Clio is nice drive home and it does have sharper acceleration and hills or slopes are negligible.
Two services two mot's and almost full tank of petrol included and it's Silver which I wanted.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0
