You are not self employed if you have set up a ltd company.

You are employed by the limited company.

Have you taken advice on your responsibilities re corporation tax/PAYE?

You declare your income once a year?

S you emply yourself, is there really much difference between self employed and employed in this case?

As previously posted (#8), you aren't self employed! Your "employer" is the ltd company!

From what you say in your posts you don't.

(Ask your accountant to explain the (not so subtle) difference between being self employed and working for a ltd company)

No, the limited company employs you. You and it are two separate entities.

You do not complete self employment pages on a self assessment return.

The limited company may need to register as an employer with HMRC and deduct tax and NIC if appropriate.

The limited company also needS to complete a corporation tax return and pay any corporation tax due.

You really need to take advice if you don't want to end up in a mess.

Whatever, you are not self employed and cannot use that for your insurance.
