Advice about overnight parking for car insurance quotes
Just bought my first car, a 2005 Suzuki Alto, and I am looking at car insurance quotes. One question I am not sure about is where the car is stored overnight.
I live in a terraced house where the back yard has a standard garage shutter at the back which is operated with an electronic key fob. So like a standard back yard there is no roof, I understand this cannot be classed as a "locked garage" as someone could jump over the wall into the garden and alter the box connected to the shutter to open the garage door.

What would you class this is as for insurance? The options I have are:
- On a driveway
- On the road at home
- In a locked garage
- In a residential car park
- In a secure car park
- In a carport
- In a forces base car park
- In an unsecure car park
- In an unlocked garage
- In a work car park
- On the road away from home
- In a railway car park

I'd go for "on a driveway" but I'd phone the company to check before taking out cover.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

I would also go for on a driveway that is what i use for my insurance
my drive is gated and gates are locked but many drives are open straight on to the road with no means of securing but would still fit the driveway criteria
nearest thing on that list to your situation is on a drive0
