Returning leased car

When I return a car at the end of a personal lease do I need to return optional extras. I am talking about easily removed items like spare wheel, mats and a boot liner. These will all fit my new car and will save me adding to the cost of the new car. My own thinking is that the full cost of these items were added to the contract so I have paid for them in full. Anyone had any experience.

You haven't paid for them in full unless you've paid the outstanding finance.
If you can get away with removing them then go for it as it'll save you paying for them again.0 -
Of course you need to return them. They are part of the car, which you only borrowed.Mortgage free

You haven't paid for them though, you have been renting them surely.0

It's unlikely they will want the used mats and it's unlikely there is a record of these items.
I'd remove the items before handing the car back and then 'find' them in the garage if any questions are asked.0 -
How much would it cost to send a spare wheel to the lease company?0

Did you buy the items separately? If not, they came with the car and they go with the car.0

Next time around, it would be better to pay for them yourself.0
