    £700 plus labour to remove 2 engines and fit one (or both to sell the busted car as full scrap)
    Better IMO just putting all that spend to a potentially better car
  • There's a risk with swapping engines. It might not work once swapped. Then the garage blames the engine and the engine supplier blames the garage and you are left with no car and a repair bill as well.
