    Hi Scarlett (and potless),

I've just sat here this morning and read the thread from start to finish. Firstly - many congratulations on your AD - I bet the feeling is immense.

I also want to say how comforting it is reading this thread. My OH is declaring himself BR very soon - he's finished most of the paperwork, wants me to check for spelling/grammar on his personal statement, and has a few more figures to find out from a few people. We're aiming for him to phone the court on friday to make an appointment.

We're both sh1tting ourselves as you can imagine, but reading this thread makes me feel better about it. We know things will be tough, but we'll get through. We have each other, both our parents know about it (well, my mum knows, my dad really doesn't) and we have some fabulous friends who are there for us. We'll also be using these boards frequently - he's started posting on here in the last few days.

So a huge thankyou from a stressed-out Missus, and massive hugs to you both. And all the best for the future!

    It's finally OVER :D

I thought I might maybe shed a little tear when I saw those magic words "Discharged on 18th February 2009"......... no, I actually sobbed like a baby :o

I can't quite believe it actually......... <OTT> I sometimes thought this day would never come.

It's waaaaay past my bedtime now boys and girls so I shall bid you all "goodnight" and say once again a BIG thank you for all your kind words this evening. I am humbled and honoured :)

Congratulations! I bet it's a relief that the bankruptcy is finally over, and you can get on with the rest of your life!
