How does cashback work?

I think you just sign up to one of these sites and buy your product through the site, is that right?

Can you sign up with multiple sites and get multiple cashback deals for the same product, car insurance in this case?

    the website will track your route to the page, so if you click on the link through the cashback website and subsequently make a purchase then you will get the cashback for that purchase.

    if you track through and don't make the purchase you won't get the cashback & I guess you'll only be purchasing your car insurance once.
  • Make sure that you clear your cookies before buying as you wont be credited the c/b if you've been to another site before purchasing.

    no you can't get multiple cashbacks for the same product, the site you click through from will give you the cashback, but beware if you have already clicked to the insurer from a different source it may break any links to the cashback and you will get nothing.
